Anoushka Shankar is a British American singer and musician, is most well-known for her music. She received the British House of Commons' Shield as the youngest, and first female recipient. In addition to the nine Grammy awards She was also the very first Indian-origin musician to be a presenter and performer during the ceremony live. Anoushka Sitar Shankar was the Indian young sitar star. She is a scholar and daughter of the legendary Ravi Shankar. She was born in 1982 in London. The first few years of her life were split between London as well as New Delhi. In New Delhi, she made her debut when she was only thirteen years old.
